Luke Bodycote's Tributes

Luke Bodycote

On Saturday 5th,Jan 2008 a 20-year-old Thurlaston man, Luke Bodycote, died after falling from the motorway bridge
at the bottom of Mill Hill, in Enderby, on to the busy M69. Mr Bodycote was taken to Leicester Royal Infirmary,
but later died as a result of his injuries. His family Are in my thoughts and prayers. I have added some photo’s of the
Wonderful display of flowers dedicated to this precious child.

My thoughts are with all of your family...

Let me share this verse from Henry Scott Holland-- 1847-1918, In the hope it will bring some comfort.

I didn't know Luke, but he must have been very special. It's hard to

come to grips with tragedy of this sort, but I do know there is a

purpose for everything under Heaven's eye. Maybe Luke was

just a little to special, so he spread his wings, and left. It's

always hard for those left behind, but just think. No more pain,

no more suffering, he's in a much better place. May you find

beauty and comfort from this great tragedy.

Four charged over teenager's murder

Four people - including a 14-year-old boy and 15-year-old girl - have been charged with the murder of teenager Bradley Whitfield, whose body was discovered on New Year's Day.

College student Bradley, 16, died at the scene after being attacked with what is thought to have been a piece of broken glass near his home in Leicester.

A post-mortem examination conducted at the city's Royal Infirmary established that he died as a result of a puncture wound to his neck.

Leicestershire Police said that four people - the two teenagers, a 31-year-old woman and a 34-year-old man - have been charged with murder and will appear at Leicester Magistrates'

Court on Friday. Bradley is thought to have been celebrating the New Year when he was attacked shortly after leaving a party at about 5.15am.

In a statement released on behalf of his family, his father Anthony Whitfield said: "Bradley was a loving son, brother, grandson and nephew. Everyone that knew him said what

a lovely young lad he was. "Bradley had such a bright future ahead of him and we cannot begin to believe what has happened. We feel that we have been left with such a hole in our hearts."

UPDATE - 8Jan - Four people appeared before Leicester magistrates on Friday charged with Bradley's murder. Darren Carr (34) and Nicola Faulds (31) both of Caldecote Road,

Braunstone, were remanded into custody.Two teenagers, a male and female, both 15, who cannot be named for legal reasons, were granted conditional bail.

The boy has gone to secure accommodation outside Leicestershire, and the girl to an undisclosed address.
